Description:

Introduction
We are seeking skilled IT Onsite Support Engineers who are eager to spread their wings in IT support.

This role requires a proactive individual who can provide advanced technical support for our IT infrastructure and end-users. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting techniques.

Tasks

  • Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues onsite for office and shopfloor/manufacturing systems.
  • Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software and configuring applications.
  • Hands & Eyes Support – perform physical activity under direction from the remote party (e.g. Network team), under direction carry out instructions to assist with resolution.
  • Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the ticketing system.
  • Record, track, and document the problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken.
  • Coordinate with vendors for the repair of equipment covered by third-party warranties. (Hardware Break/Fix assistance and vendor management)
  • Assist in the management of IT inventory, ensuring all assets are recorded and updated/removed when necessary.
  • Transportation of assets within the campus, boxing / packing and dispatching assets.
  • Conduct briefings and demonstrations for users to enhance system productivity.
  • Installation, Move, Add and Change (IMAC)
  • Telephony Support – perform telephone admin support include MAC and voicemail setup.
  • Mobile Phone or tablet Support – a combination of Hands & Eyes, Asset Management,
  • Non-PC IT Equipment Support – provide on-site triage and resolution recommendation to non-PC IT devices e.g. Printers and Scanners. If required specific training & instruction will be provided.
  • Non-PC IT equipment support specifically for mobile devices.
  • Audio-Video systems local support assistance
  • One-off infrastructure projects execution (LAN refresh, site infrastructure documentation) on a case-by-case basis depending on the available site-specific resource skills).
  • Additional expertise in specific areas such as local network on a site basis and where greed between the Parties.
  • Service activity report such as incident volumes.
  • Ensure operational security, maintenance and governance.

Requirements

It’s not a problem if you don’t have everything listed. You’ll have the opportunity to learn in this role, and you can expand your knowledge with our training programs. :)

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in IT support or related roles.
  • Fundamental understanding of computer hardware and peripherals.
  • Knowledge of Windows environments, mobile devices (iOS, Android), common software applications (MS Office Suite, email clients) and other tech products. (general understanding of tech principles, structured networks, etc.)
  • Ability to troubleshoot various hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Understanding of network connectivity issues and troubleshooting (e.g., Wi-Fi, LAN) inc. hands and eyes support for L3-L4 teams
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Awareness of Active Directory basics for user account management.
  • Possession of a driver’s license, driving experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. (hungarian and english)
  • Ability to work based on set standards.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 kg at times.
  • Availability to respond to needs during off-hours and weekends. (optional)

Preferences

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITILv4, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred.If you don’t have these certifications, we’ll help you get them! :)
