Description:
The post holder will participate in the decontamination and processing of flexible endoscopes and the operation of machinery to ensure the safe and effective production of all goods received and dispatched from the reprocessing units.
This will involve the safe and secure transportation of contaminated devices into the department and the timely dispatch of processed products to the procedure suites.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all data is collected, in accordance with the units documented procedures and results processed and stored on a daily basis, work supervised and be accountable to the Senior Endoscopy Supervisor.
Decontamination and processing of flexible endoscopes and the operation of machinery to ensure safe and effective production of all goods received and dispatched from the reprocessing units.
This post includes some driving across sites as well as working across all 3 sites, Hull Royal Infirmary/Castle Hill Hospital and Harrow Street.
To effectively process and label reusable medical devices and return to user. To keep accurate records using the units documentation and data system used to trace all goods received and dispatched. Liaise with theatre teams and other departments in receipt of Endoscopy
