Description:

An exciting career opportunity has arisen for a Band 8a Lead Nurse for Endoscopy to join the Diagnostics, Therapies, and Cancers Services division to lead and positively impact on the experience of patients and their families by ensuring high standards of clinical practice and care in our Endoscopy department.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated nurse with significant endoscopy experience who is committed to change management and service improvement .
The post holder will p rovide strong clinical leadership and be professionally accountable for the standards and co-ordination of patient care within the Endoscopy Department, ensuring that standards are continuously developed and maintained . They will carry overall responsibility for the organisation and management of the Endoscopy Unit , coordinating the provision of Endoscopy services to external departments including being r esponsible for completion of the Global Rating Scale (GRS) census and providing evidence required to sustain our JAG accreditation and revalidation.
The post is an ideal opportunity for an experienced nurse to build upon and advance their leadership and managerial skills whilst being supported by the Divisional Professional Clinical L ead, the Associate Director of Operation s and the Divisional Director .
