Description:

ENDOSCOPY LEAD PRACTITIONER

One Ashford Hospital, part of the Phoenix Hospital Group, has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Endoscopy Lead Practitioner to join our Endoscopy & Theatres Team at our Ashford hospital.
We are looking for a highly committed individual who is flexible and proactive with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in endoscopy.
Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday with occasional weekends as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • NMC Registration
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Teaching, assessing mentorship qualification
  • Diploma/degree in management

EXPERIENCE

  • In depth knowledge of HTM: 01-06
  • Proven relevant Endoscopy experience at senior nurse level
  • Proven evidence and sound knowledge base of the Global Ratings Scale (GRS) and the Joint Accreditation Group (JAG)
  • Experience of Clinical governance and audit processes
  • Experience of delivering a high standard of patient care within agreed financial limits.

SKILLS

  • Effective leadership and management skills.
  • Demonstrable skills of financial awareness and management with the need to balance the provision of quality care while maintaining a business focus
  • Knowledge of appropriate standards and external bodies, such as the Care Quality Commission and the Joint Accreditation Group
  • Auditing skills across clinical quality standards
  • Sound written, numerical, and verbal communication skills
  • IT literate
