This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for this position and the range of duties undertaken. It does not attempt to detail every activity, and should be utilised as a general guide, detailing the minimum requirements and responsibilities of the position. Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the post holder following the appraisal process and on an as and when required basis throughout the post holder’s period of employment.

Responsibilities:

To work collaboratively within the QHSE team to deliver functional Energy Management standards across the portfolio.
Conducting energy reviews, establishing baselines, performance indicators and targets
Ensuring operational control of significant energy users and managing the collection and analysis of energy data are highly technical tasks.
Managing compliance with ISO 50001 and conducting internal audits. Inclusive of technical responsibilities that necessitate an in-depth understanding of energy management systems.
Leading energy-related upgrade and retrofit projects within the portfolio, including renewable energy initiatives.
Communicating the importance of energy management and promoting a culture of energy conservation involving strategic and behavioral change aspects.
Organising energy awareness campaigns and training sessions for staff, and other stakeholders to assist with changing behaviors and implementing policies.
To provide competent regular client and team meetings, to support onsite Managers and operational teams to enable them to carry out their responsibilities in line with ISO50001 principles.
Create a business partnership model between you and the operations team
To ensure the alignment of sector specific energy plans and the sharing of best practice with peers.
Providing monthly reporting to relevant stakeholders
