Description:

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Understanding of data analytics would be essential;
Understanding of procedures for managing data; data uploads; data quality management
Demonstrated knowledge and applied usage of BI tools a definite advantage;
Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office 365, Python;
Experience working with various data formats, sources and data transfer protocols;
Third level qualification in a numerical discipline (eg Science, Maths or Engineering).
Analytical and troubleshooting skills with complex technical subjects and tasks;
A high level of numeracy and an excellent attention to detail;
Ability to be flexible and to be able to multi-task and prioritise when necessary;
Excellent presentational, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to present and explain complex technical topics, problems, alternative solutions to others;
Working knowledge of API set up, scripting and troubleshooting a definite advantage;
Understanding of ESG and Sustainable reporting requirements and impact on Real Estate.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE / LOCATION

Savills Property Management Division is seeking a data analyst to join their Energy and Sustainability team.
The candidate will support our energy bureau team who provide energy procurement and consultancy services for commercial and private rented sector (PRS) properties. The energy bureau provide support through utility tendering our portfolio to achieve most competitive prices, managing accounts, monitoring consumption and developing service charge budgets, along with ad hoc queries from utility companies/ clients.
The successful candidate will be managing and interpreting large volumes of energy data.
Ideally the candidate will be familiar with energy and utility type businesses, but not essential.
The successful candidate will join a growing dynamic team, with real opportunity for development and progression. Your permanent location will be our Dublin city head office, and the role will include some limited travel to client’s properties and Savills offices throughout the country.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support to our energy bureau team, working on our energy, utilities & sustainability management platform through:
Onboarding of new properties to our portfolio;
Management of utility supply accounts;
Collection & verification of historic data;
Maintain all data in relation to energy, water & waste;
Assisting in implementation of a utility contract management system;
Performing utility consumption and trends analytics;
Review & analyse consumption patterns;
Verify data accuracy;
Compile reports on consumption at tenancy, property & portfolio level;
Creation of annual utility budgets;
Address & manage any utility budget queries from budget owners;
Build effective relationships externally with clients, utility companies & internally with other Savills teams;
Managing ESG data in line with client’s requirements
