Description:
- Are you passionate about building Canada’s low-carbon future?
- Are you a Mechanical, Electrical, Building, or Sustainable and Renewable Energy Engineering student currently studying in an accredited engineering program and seeking a co-op term starting in May 2025?
- Are you proficient in Excel, database programming software along with other energy modelling software, and are familiar with renewable and innovative energy technologies (e.g., ground-source or air-source heat pumps, combined heat and power, solar thermal, solar photovoltaic, wind power, electrical energy storage, thermal energy storage, waste heat recovery, biomass heating)?
- Are you interested in working on unique and pioneering projects in the field of energy systems?

Responsibilities:
- Reviewing technical and product literature.
- Analyzing energy consumption data to better understand where energy is used.
- Developing models of energy generation or energy consumption using commercial modelling software.
- Participating in the design of renewable energy or energy reduction projects.
- Assisting other Energy Systems Engineering staff in a range of projects.
