We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Business Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, manage key third-party relationships, and drive sustainable growth in our business.
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As the Enersure Retail Business Manager, you will report directly to the C.O.O. and take full responsibility for the management and coordination of various third-party businesses that support Enersure’s operations. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including sales, marketing, customer service, supplier relations, finance, and business development. This is a hands-on management role with significant potential for growth as both employee and customer numbers expand.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage sales, marketing, and customer retention initiatives for Enersure’s equipment rental and retail programs.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase revenue and profitability, reporting on progress monthly.
- Oversee the RFP process for selecting suppliers and retailers, ensuring contracts align with company goals and standards.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and retailers, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- Represent Enersure at community events, trade shows, and industry associations to enhance business visibility and drive growth.
- Lead the development of infrastructure (e.g., website, asset management systems) to support the business.
- Create and present business plans for existing and new ventures, providing financial analysis for executive approval.
- Administer and manage the rental business budget, including revenue tracking and direct cost management.
- Track and report customer activity and financial impacts on billing, inventory, and budgets.
- Collaborate with City of Brantford’s billing and collection departments to meet financial targets.
- Process and verify incoming invoices, ensuring adherence to company policies and contracts.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and retailers for various projects.
- Establish and maintain order processes and service escalation procedures with the City of Brantford’s customer service department.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for unresolved customer service issues.
- Work with partners within the service territory to enhance the marketing of Enersure services.
- Collaborate with the C.O.O. and C.E.O. on various strategic initiatives and provide regular updates.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
