We are seeking a dynamic Engagement & Internal Communications Specialist to join our Human Resources team, reporting to the Chief People Officer. This role is pivotal in fostering a vibrant and connected workplace culture.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Brings over 2 years of experience in a similar role within a medium to large business, ideally in a multi-site or retail environment.
  • Excels in planning, prioritising, and coordinating internal communications for maximum engagement.
  • Is an authentic and collaborative team player with exceptional influencing skills.
  • Is proficient with current Internal Comms tools and technologies.
  • Confidently presents to key stakeholders, including our Leadership Team.
  • Has experience in Event Management and/or supporting Employee Engagement initiatives.
  • Capable of developing and implementing an impactful Engagement Strategy.
  • Adapts swiftly to changing business needs, acquiring and applying new skills with ease.
  • Possesses a proactive and flexible ‘can-do’ attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance a world-class Engagement & Internal Communications strategy that captivates and informs our 1,600 colleagues across 36 locations.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc communications that resonate with our team.
  • Build and execute a roadmap of Internal Communications & Colleague Engagement initiatives to support our business objectives and Great Place to Work journey.
  • Support event planning for company conferences and gatherings.
  • Assist with projects that advance the broader HR business plan.
