Description:

As an Engagement Leader, you will be proficient at leading the delivery of security and infrastructure projects and will be directly responsible for the program management, project management and project governance of those projects. Above all else, you will drive project outcomes to ensure the customer realizes the value of Imperva Professional Services. While technical project management is your key strength, possessing an appropriate level of technical understanding of the security landscape (on-premises and cloud) to successfully lead PS projects.
The types of projects performed by the Consulting and Professional Services team range from advisory and implementation engagements within the security domain using Imperva’s class-leading technologies. Projects are executed in collaboration with a project team of architects and engineers, interfacing with customers that include large enterprises and SMEs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years’ proven experience program/project managing infrastructure and/or security projects for organization(s)
  • 6+ years of experience in a project-based delivery environment
  • 3+ years of experience engaging directly with enterprise customers and SMB customers
  • Project management qualifications (e.g. PMP, Prince2)
  • Service management qualifications (e.g. ITIL Foundation)
  • Security clearance (or the ability to obtain).
  • Experience delivering projects on one cloud platform from AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for project outcomes as the technical project manager
  • Coordinate Imperva and customer teams to achieve project outcomes
  • Leverage your project management skills to apply the necessary level of program management, project management and governance
  • Be strongly outcomes-focused and customer-centric, with the ability to anticipate project and customer needs
  • Manage the project team, milestones and goals
  • Provide weekly status about the state of customer engagement, alerting management to potential issues impacting our ability to meet project timeline.
  • Mentor develop and provide opportunities to members
  • Assist and take charge of initiatives to further the development and improvement of the organization PMO practices
  • Perform capacity forecasting, scheduling, planning against project timelines, budget and quality measures
  • Ability to collaborate with and manage diverse cross functional teams for successful customer outcomes.
  • Strong rapport and relationship building skills with both internal departments and external customers.
  • A strong desire to learn new technologies and delivery excellent customer outcomes through technical expertise
  • Solid problem-solving abilities coupled with a desire to take on responsibility
  • Good communication skills and an ability to develop relationship with internal and external stakeholders
  • Have an adequate understanding of Imperva cloud technologies and how to successfully implement those technologies on cloud platforms including AWS, Azure and GCloud.
