THE OPPORTUNITY: YOUR NEXT ADVENTURE AWAITS
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Engagement Manager to join our Transaction Strategy and Execution team, based in our Copenhagen office. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in M&A strategy/execution (both pre- and post-deal), and experience in the operational aspects of M&A, which should include experience client-facing, or in-house, engagements in one or more of the following areas:
- Post-merger integration and/or carve-out assistance
- Operations due diligence
- Operational value creation
- Deal strategy, including synergies
- Technology (product) and/or IT due diligence
As an Engagement Manager in the team, you will be an integral part of our management team, managing often complex M&A engagements, as well as developing our smart, dynamic team so that they can realize their potential and deliver value for our clients.

- Qualifications:
- Significant and recent experience in a consulting firm or industry of preparing and delivering programs in an M&A environment
- Ability to problem solve and communicate effectively with gravitas with all relevant stakeholders, both internal and external
- Comfort with ambiguity, fluid situations and time-pressured environments
- Professional presentation skills with impact, competent in presenting ideas clearly, convincingly to influence senior stakeholders and possessing personal presence

Responsibilities:
- Lead and/or contribute to a variety of pre- and post-deal engagements, including due diligence, deal strategy/synergies, operational value creation and managing/contributing to workstreams as part of integrations or carve-outs
- Be responsible for day-to-day engagement management, including commercial, staffing and risk aspects of engagement management
- Assist in aspects of business origination, including pitches and presentations, and working in project teams comprising other colleagues
- Work in client engagement teams executing Strategy and Transaction services which support key decision makers in developing and executing strategies for transactions
- Work in a fast-paced, exciting environment with strong business acumen to really help add value to our clients
- Learn and develop technical and personal skills to support achievement of career goals, through a blend of structured learning, coaching and experiences
- Contribute to our practice development initiatives, supporting the continued focus on our team as a great place to work
