Description:
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
EXPERIENCE
- 3 - 5 years’ experience on GE, P&WC, RR or other OEM gas turbine engines.
Responsibilities:
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS / DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete and carry out all work (Maintenance, repairs, and/or modifications) as assigned by the Engine Shop Manager / or delegate.
- Complete all regulatory and company requirements. Ensure that related documentation is up to date, accurate and maintained to the highest of integrity.
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations.
- Act as a receiving inspector for parts as required.
- Ensure parts are scrapped in accordance with Scrap Parts program on the approval the Project Manager or Customer’s authority.
- Certify engine repair by Avmax.
- Ensure all defects being deferred have been done following proper procedures.
- Provide technical training to junior technicians as directed by the Engine Shop Manager/or delegate.
- Notify the Engine Shop Manager of all defects discovered during maintenance.
- Provide regular job status updates and report all defects and work stoppages to the Engine Shop Manager.
- Report unserviceable equipment to the Engine Shop Manager / or delegate.
GENERAL DUTIES
- Review and be fully familiarized with all aspects of Avmax’s Maintenance Policy Manual and General Procedures Manual.
- Compliance with both manual’s policy and procedure are mandatory.
- Possess strong fundamental aircraft engine knowledge.
- Demonstrate ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Use and maintenance of calibrated tools and equipment.
- Ensure that all maintenance and safety precautions are observed when carrying out assigned activities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion.
- Promote company values, vision, and mission.
- Attend training courses as directed by company management.
- Continuous Improvement recommendations.
