Description:
AV ENGINEER
High Tech Homes specialises in high quality design and installation of whole-home audio, video, lighting, home cinema and much more, for high-end residential properties.
Located in South West London, we work primarily in the local area but occasionally have projects further afield.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
The candidate should ideally have:
- Knowledge & Experience within the industry
- Good knowledge of residential AV, control (Control4, Crestron, Lutron Lighting) and network systems (Draytek, Ruckus)
- The ability to read and work from schematic drawings.
- Be used to working both in an Engineering Team and broader project Teams, as well as at times, working on their own
- A valid ECS card
- A clean and current driving licence
- Must be polite and be able to communicate clearly
- Experience servicing existing AV systems Enthusiasm for AV technology and the future of our Industry
- High standard of personal presentation
- Professional and approachable attitude to clients and other tradespeople
- Share our passion for processes and procedures
- Tidy and organised approach to work
- Ability to work with initiative and consider installations and issues in the wider context of the whole project and the client’s user experience
- Autonomy to work on your own or lead a small team on a client project

Pay: £37,590.00-£39,899.00 per year

Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic AV Installer to join our Team. Self-motivation and a get up and go attitude are very important. The new engineer will join and existing team in delivering an exception standard of workmanship and will become a key member of a fast growing company with a promising future.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Setup and programming of simple and complex lighting and whole-home control systems
- Deliver exceptional installations, to include: cable installation and termination, installation of items of audio video equipment, equipment rack building and occasional minor ‘making good’ tasks
- Being a face of our company; attending job sites on your own for installation and diagnostic purposes, as well as to service existing AV systems, inclusive of problem-solving and troubleshooting
