Description:

Our team is responsible for creating the manufacturing capabilities for new products, so you are a vital factor in enabling this goal. You will be working closely on product programs locally and globally. This role will be on the lookout point for new product and technology development.

As part of our team, you will:

  • Design and Implement Automation Solutions: You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative automation solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes.
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement: Participate actively in the analysis and improvement of existing production lines, using your expertise in automation to identify bottlenecks and propose actionable solutions. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing productivity and reducing costs.
  • Collaborate on Product and Process Development: Work closely with cross-functional teams on product development projects, bringing an automation perspective to the table. Your role will be crucial in integrating automation considerations into the early stages of design through the Design for Excellence (DfX) process.
  • Drive Innovation: Be up to date of the latest trends and technologies in automation and robotics. You will have the opportunity to recommend and pilot new technologies that could be game changers for our manufacturing processes.
  • B.Sc. / M.Sc. Degree or equivalent
  • +3 years’ experience in:
  • ABB industrial robot programming and simulation with Robot studio.
  • PLC programming (Omron, Festo, Beckhoff)
  • PLC Graphical user interface programming (HMI)
  • Experience in electronical manufacturing environment and the production machinery.
  • Teamworking and people skills
  • Self-driven and result-oriented attitude
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

It would be nice if you were also familiar with:

  • Other robot programming environments⁠
  • Knowledge of the Design for Excellence (DfX) is a benefit.⁠
  • IoT based Environmental Monitoring SystemCamera systems and machine vision
