- Technical authoring experience would be advantageous but happy to develop you into this role.

- Level 3 Qualification in engineering discipline or relevant experience.

THE ROLE
As an Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary, forming part of the team that produces the work authorities for fuel handling/defueling of nuclear submarines.
You will have an input and influence on the process, including the creation, change and implementation of processes utilised across the site. Day-to-day, you’ll support in the production in detailed documentation to be utilised by various teams.
- Provide advice/guidance (within level of competency) to various projects on work content for cost and planning analysis
- Ensuring that strict contractual and legislative standards are maintained when drafting documentation.
- Attending meetings to answer questions concerning documentation content and to incorporate any justified changes as agreed.
- Performing quality checking to own and peers’ documentation for agreed scope and / or area of expertise.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week, based at HMNB Devonport, Plymouth with a hybrid working arrangement.
