Location: Bakkavor Bourne, 33 Spalding Rd (PE10 0AT)
Salary: up to £47,225 depending on experience + night shift allowance (£1,747)
Shift: 4 on 4 off (4 days, 4 nights)
Hours: 07:00 – 19:00 / 19:00 – 07:00

WHAT WE DO.

We are looking for a Rotating Engineer to join our Bourne Meals site. Our factory is based in Bourne and specialises in preparing fruit, leafy salads, and stir fry mixes. It employs over 1,200 people and is only 16 miles from Peterborough and 12 miles from Spalding.
About the role.
Joining our growing team as a Maintenance Engineer will be exciting as you solve problems, drive-up quality and make things work quicker, better and smarter. Conducting planned and predictive maintenance to prevent issues occurring, you’ll work collaboratively to lead or support our operational teams with machinery changeovers and set ups and enjoy working both independently and with other teams.

ABOUT YOU

To succeed in this key role, we’re looking for Shift Engineers with:

  • Experience working in a FMCG manufacturing maintenance environment,
  • C&G / EAL NVQ Level 3 / 4 or OAL FDEM Diploma, who are qualified in the Current Edition of IET Wiring Regulations
  • C&G Level 3
  • Knowledge of all Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and procedures
  • Experience of planning works, writing reports and verifying assets to meet performance criteria
  • The ability to read and adhere to site SOPs,
  • Ideally, you’ll have recent CMMS experience and an electrical bias

Responsibilities:
