Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY
Veolia ANZ has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to join the team at our Woodlawn site, based in Tarago, NSW. The power station is part of the Woodlawn Eco-precinct, which is an on-going expanding site.
Reporting to the Power Station Manager, you will oversee all aspects of power station maintenance, including scheduling activities, planning and approving works, and contractor and project management.
Responsibilities:
- Operation and maintenance of power station equipment, including landfill gas-fired engines, HV/LV equipment, gas blowers, gas flares, gas lines, and other ancillary equipment.
- Planning, coordinating,and tracking maintenance works with the WBE team
- Controlling stock levels & order stock
- Contractor/project management for power station improvement and expansion projects
- Preparation of the project, operation or maintenance reports
- Maintaining power station drawings and manuals.
- Promoting and continuously applying personal safety, environmental and quality awareness in the workplace
