We are recruiting to fill the position below:

JOB DESCRIPTION

Some key responsibilities are but are not limited to the following;

  • Oversee the day-to-day construction project.
  • Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and other professionals, particularly quantity surveyors and the project manager overall, offering technical guidance and resolving issues on the job
  • Direct construction work, conducting surveys, laying out sites, ensuring that technical plans and drawings are followed correctly, managing hired workers, and ensuring that project packages adhere to agreed-upon standards, budgets, and/or timeframe.
  • Completing quality assurance and providing feedback to the team.
  • Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular projects.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment as required.
  • Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Prepare site reports and other paperwork, coordinating with quantity surveyors to purchase and price materials, and verifying compliance with health and safety and sustainability laws and regulations.
  • Delegating tasks and scheduling meetings and training sessions where required.
  • Compile estimates for technical and material requirements for project development.
  • Determine and present estimates of operational costs.
  • Collaborate with management to align activities with desired business outcomes.
  • Evaluate operations and processes.
  • Suggest process and technical design changes to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Implement improvements to designs and processes.
  • Test material and structural integrity.
  • Research the environmental impact of projects.
  • Prepare proposal documents and presentation.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all site engineering activities.
