POSITION SUMMARY:

Amkor is recruiting for an Engineer in Business Intelligence/ Analytics for its corporate office in Tempe, AZ. This position will have the opportunity to participate in design, implementation, and support of high impact projects. Responsibilities include new project development, data model and report building, AI/ML research, and production support.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or in a closely related field of study or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau, SAS, Advanced Excel, SharePoint, SQL, Python.
  • Demonstrated understanding on Analytics’ trends, AI/ML, Gen AI, and best practices.
  • High aptitude for learning new software and concepts with attention to detail.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good technical and system documentation skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with different business groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with remote teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge in semiconductor packaging or similar manufacturing is desirable.
  • Ability to work in a world-wide diverse work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide world-class internal customer support and work under standardization and best practices.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as a team member, adhering to deadlines.
  • Adhere to, author, edit, and review documentation - policies/procedures/change management.
  • Enhance decision-making processes through process innovation aligning with market trends.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, recommend, and implement timely, workable, realistic solutions.
  • Refine business-analytic experience through continual assessment and improvement of existing reports and dashboards.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
