• OPERATIONS - OPERATIONS TRAININGS DEVELOPMENT AND DELIVERY –o Trainings Development and Delivery : Creates a culture of continuous learning across DP World operations to ensure employees and others are knowledgeable about the various aspects of operations and the right processes are in place to support the generation of trainings.
• OPERATIONS - OPERATIONS SAFETY STANDARDSo Knowledge of Safety Standards : Serves as an expert on DP World’s policies and procedures and other local regulations related to community safety.o Managing Risks : Establishes safety related risk management strategies that are aligned with DP World’s overall strategy and advises on complex risk management plans.
• Raising Awareness of Safety :
• OPERATIONS - KNOWLEDGE OF TERMINAL OPERATIONSo Knowledge of Terminal Operations : Acts as a subject matter expert on the network of terminal operations at DP World; uses own knowledge of industry trends and best practices to enhance the related standards, processes, equipment and procedures.• OPERATIONS - OPERATIONS SUPPORTo Completing Operational Activities : Oversees the portfolio of projects/ activities that impact the business areas; reviews objectives and shifts resources and timelines as necessary, to ensure that the highest value activities receive priority.o Dealing with Government Bodies : Ensures the teams’ processes and work completed are in compliance with the regulatory authorities; handles complex cases and builds close relationships with regulatory bodies.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Desirable Qualification: Diploma or Certificate in either Engineer or MEP.
• Work Experience: 5+ years experience in Operations Training/Support.

1. Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
2. Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.Design and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance the longevity and efficiency of refrigeration systems.
3. Assist in managing and mentoring the facilities team, providing necessary technical training and support.
4. Ensure the team adheres to best practices in facilities management and safety protocols.
5. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for scheduled maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
6. Monitor the quality of services provided by vendors, ensuring compliance with contracts and performance standards.
7. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend the life of facilities equipment.
8. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
9. Work closely with the resolution center to address any facilities-related customer complaints and issues.
10. Ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of customer issues in collaboration with the resolution center.
11. Contribute to the development and implementation of processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
12. Analyze operational data and suggest improvements to reduce costs and enhance service delivery.
13. Ensure that all facilities operations comply with local regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
14. Conduct safety audits and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
15. Prepare regular reports on facility operations, maintenance activities, and any incidents for review by the Manager Facility Management.
16. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all facility-related activities.
17. Assist in planning and executing facility upgrades and renovation projects, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
18. Monitor project progress, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
19. Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth facility operations and address any cross-functional issues.
20. Participate in cross-departmental projects that require facilities management support.
21. Identify and implement energy-efficient solutions and sustainable practices to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
22. Develop and maintain emergency response plans for facilities-related incidents.
23. Lead the response to facilities emergencies, ensuring the safety and security of the market.
