ABOUT OUR GROUP:

RPE department’s primary mission is to test the electrical efficiency of the magnetic media and head. We use VXI-Based Testing System (VTS) and Reduced Footprint Spin stand (RFS) as a component level of electrical tester. We will provide process feedback/design feedback for mass production as well as development/Launch and aid drive development by characterizing distribution and developing transfer function. In additional, we will test Failure Analysis tool (electrical HDD failures only) and screen defects (electrical only) related to magnetic sputtering process.

YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or engineering related field.
• Knowledge in software and programming skills – Microsoft office, Python programming, VBA excel.
• Accomplished lab skills, including operation of oscilloscopes, data collection tools, and data analysis techniques are all skills that will be beneficial in this role.
• Proficient in English speaking and writing
• Able to work in cleanroom environment and perform overtime as and when necessary.

• Responsible to evaluate new test script, test set up, test head and new equipment.
• Review specification and analyze the data to ensure data is relevant and accurate.
• Responsible for any discrepancy in testing related issue and address the issue timely.
• Drive detail troubleshooting and continuous improvement programs to resolve tester issues together with equipment team.
• Apply hands-on and with deep involvement at work.
• Handle customer failure and return internal request.
• Support new product launches from qualification to mass production.
• Identify and support kaizen activities and project for continuous improvement opportunities to test operations.
• Strong teamwork, able to work well with a global team and other duties as assigned.
• Responsible for Incoming test head inventory check and ordering
• Compliance with EHS, QM, ESD, 5S standard and cleanroom protocol.
• Any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by immediate superior or management.
