REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Electronics and Electrical, Manufacturing, or Technical Engineering with strong electrical/electronic knowledge to comprehend manufacturing equipment and machinery.
  • Proven ability in Process/Manufacturing Engineering in a production environment.
  • Familiarity with problem solving and engineering standards, eg, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferably, have previous experience in the Biopharmaceutical industry, with knowledge of cGMP, FDA, and ISO13485 guidelines, as well as familiarity with Lean Manufacturing methods and philosophies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for Product Engineering, including second-level failure analysis and cost reduction through value engineering.
  • Provide support for Sustaining Engineering, including improving manufacturing First Pass Yield (FPY), enhancing manufacturing processes, and evaluating alternate parts for End of Life (EOL) replacement.
  • Plan and ensure smooth start-up of new product transfers to local manufacturing operations, and provide ongoing support for product sustainability after transfer.
  • Plan and implement engineering activities to improve key performance indicators in manufacturing operations, such as quality, cost/waste reduction, efficiency, and efficacy.
  • Plan and implement validation activities to support the introduction of new products and product transfers to local manufacturing operations.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO, regulatory, and housekeeping requirements, ensuring that systems and procedures are in place and adhered to.
