We are seeking a talented and motivated Engineer II, Production to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing equipment and process capacity constraints to provide technical solutions that drive an increase in capacity, reduce equipment downtime, increase efficiencies and yield. You will lead Continuous Improvement (CI) through packaging process/material optimization (Life-Cycle Management) and the implementation of innovative new technologies/materials at Hikma.

- B.S in Engineering or other scientific discipline plus a minimum 2 years’ experience; or a minimum 8 years’ experience related to production equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for resolving equipment troubleshooting and repair issues once escalation requires equipment engineer engagement. Responsible for communicating issues, path forward, cost, and estimated timeframe and ensuring appropriate follow up.
- Identifies equipment downtime issues and implement sustainable solutions aligned with Site Metrics, Business Objectives, and Site Strategy.
- Leads and facilitates the technical equipment CIA process, including identifying opportunities, suggesting possible resolutions in a collaborative environment (technicians, senior technicians, performance centers), and to drive long term improvements in the areas of capacity and efficiency and downtime reduction.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and support investigations (TPI, Quality, Safety, Operations).
- Supports embedded trainer as SME to identify technical training needs, develop training plans, and materials.
- Leads group equipment projects (< $500K) within area of responsibility. Represents operations interest in capital projects > $500K.
- Supports Launch requirements by ensuring systems and equipment (eForms, tooling, recipes) are available when needed.
