MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience leading the development of complex capital, and/or metrology, equipment. Advanced degrees highly desired and may substitute for experience. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and meaningful work experience may be considered.
- Precision machine design proficiency, design for stiffness, controlling degrees of freedom, error budgeting, sensor selection, material selection, GD&T, design for manufacturability
- Experience with Traditional and additive manufacturing methods and joining techniques (welding, brazing, …)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters or PhD in Physics, Mechanical, Systems or Electrical Engineering
- Experience in semiconductor capital equipment development
- Successful track record leading multi-functional technical teams
- Experience with metrology, motion systems, machine vision, vacuum systems, ceramics, high voltage, wafer handling, automation and/or charged particle systems.
- Experience with technology development and qualification
- Proficiency with CAE
