Stanley Consultants is seeking motivated Civil/Geotechnical Engineering candidates that enjoy working in a team environment on challenging projects to join our Minneapolis, MN office. We are a team of water resources, structural, geotechnical and civil engineers that deliver heavy civil engineering projects focused on flood risk reduction, river restoration, dams, and earth retaining structures for clients nationally and globally.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
  • Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering - geotechnical emphasis is a plus
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of geotechnical analysis software (e.g., SEEP/W, SLOPE/W, LPile)
  • Ability to use AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation is not required but is a plus
  • Possess strong verbal, computer, and organizational skills
  • Excellent technical writing skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include technical analysis, design, preparation of construction documents, reports, and cost estimates for geotechnical, military, water resources, environmental, structural, transportation, and energy projects. Your responsibilities will include analysis and interpretation of geotechnical data, structural and slope stability analyses, design of earth retaining structures and embankments, seepage analysis, settlement analysis, ground improvement design, and shallow and deep foundation analysis and design.
