REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university with a focus on Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent) - with a minor in Finance, Mathematics, or Engineering.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills to penetrate, structure, and present complex problems in an understandable way.
• Solid knowledge and practical experience with the following or similar technologies, platforms and tools: JSE, JMS, XML, JSON, Apache Camel, Drools, SpringBoot, Hazelcast, Docker, RedHat OpenShift, Google Cloud, Kafka, Maven, Git, Eclipse, Confluence and JIRA.
• Good knowledge of the following topics: Design Patterns, Enterprise Integration Patterns, REST, Microservices, Monitoring Tools.
• Experience in agile development is highly desirable (SAFe/SCRUM/Kanban).
• Know-how or experience in one or more of the following topics would be a perfect addition: Distributed Caching, Real-Time Streaming, Data Analytics, Graph Databases and Artificial Intelligence.
• Good ability to work in virtual teams and in matrix organizations.
• Ability to share information and impart expertise and experience and to work in a fast-paced environment with competing and changing priorities with a constant focus on delivery.
• Fluent written and spoken English – knowledge of German is an advantage.

ROLE:

To strengthen our development team, we are looking for an ITAO (IT Application Owner). The role has particularly deep and broad expertise in the development and maintenance of applications; provides comprehensive advice on the security and stability of applications and suggests suitable technologies.

TASKS:

• Design and development of components of a real-time application based on a microservices architecture.
• Implementation and fulfillment of banking guidelines (naming conventions, encryption, security settings, capacity, availability and other non-functional requirements).
• Identify and coordinate dependencies related to release activities for the non-production environment as well as in the production environment.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimates, code reviews using the four-eyes principle, and problem and root cause analysis.
• Evaluate and identify risk mitigation potentials, including across multiple aspects such as design, implementation, integration, and data quality.
• Level 3 support for technical infrastructure components (e.g. databases, middleware, and user interfaces).
• Where appropriate, manage application maintenance and implement planned technical changes according to agile principles/processes.
