JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Are you passionate about bringing innovative devices to life through the magic of software? We’re on the hunt for a creative and skilled individual who thrives in the realm of Embedded Software (Firmware) design, development, and testing. This role is perfect for someone who loves the challenge of crafting software that seamlessly integrates with and controls the real-time functions of physical devices—be it motors, alternators, engines, valves, fans, or other dynamic products.
In this exciting role, you’ll need a robust understanding of the devices you’re working with, the real-time functions they’re expected to perform, and the capability to design, develop, implement, and test the logic and software that bring these functions to life. Your work will span across various product lines and services, making a significant impact on our operations and contributing to the planning and execution of our projects.
While you’ll have the autonomy to bring your innovative ideas to the table, you’ll also follow standard functional practices and procedures to ensure excellence in execution. Your role will require a blend of creativity, technical prowess, and the ability to make informed decisions, sometimes with guidance, to navigate the complexities of embedded software development.
If you’re ready to take on the challenge of ensuring our devices perform flawlessly in real-time, all while working in a dynamic and supportive environment, we’d love to have you join our team. Let’s push the boundaries of what’s possible together and create technology that makes a difference.

- Take ownership and accountability for running testing projects on-site and on-machine as well as off-machine as mandatory part of the software development cycle (incl. progression and regression test scenarios).
- Support to analyze and design test strategies to ensure coverage and traceability to requirements (incl. trace to functional and non-functional requirements, FMEA and Threat Analyses findings).
- Work with other engineering teams to perform diagnostics on failed tests in order to get to the root cause and enable fast turnaround on the findings (incl. detection, correction, prevention and prediction).
