JR60778 Engineer - PLN Ops Modelling
As an Operation Modelling Engineer at Micron Semiconductor Operation Asia Pte Ltd, you will apply industrial engineering concept to develop planning model for facilities system, asset utilization and other fab metrics. You will be responsible to ensure efficient management of fab metrics through scenarios comparison and optimization, engaged in constant communication with the various stakeholders for Business Plans and Scenario studies

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline
  • Good in written communication and presentation skills
  • Highly motivated to work in a dynamic environment, with good integrity and character
  • Ability to multi-task and organize work systematically in meeting dead-lines without compromising on quality
  • Proficient in programming skill will be an added advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and validate capacity/space models to enable accurate assessment of production loading needs
  • Apply Industrial Engineering concepts to line management, capacity analysis, scheduling and production planning
  • Develop models for non-equipment related capability to meet the Fab output requirements.
  • Managing complex projects across several different departments and sites, working pro-actively with other departments to identify areas of improvement and actions.
  • Coordinating efforts of the site industrial engineering teams to continuously improve production metrics and optimize use of installed capital
  • Understand the impact to the metrics driven by output changes through scenario analysis Provide inputs and support network optimization and long-term strategy discussions.
