    The Role
    We are seeking to engage an Engineer for our Power & Energy Team. This role can be based in any of our offices in New South Wales / Victoria, and is responsible for providing the design engineering knowledge and effective project management skills to support the ongoing activities of a leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, undertaking varied Engineering tasks of limited scope and complexity

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting more senior Engineers with the analysis of information, production of designs and computations under broad supervision
  • Preparing specifications, proposals and other documentation under broad supervision
  • Using a combination of standard and modified Engineering methods/techniques in addition to those developed in previous assignments for the purpose of solving problems
  • Preparing client and technical reports
  • Researching for alternative solutions via Internet and library resources to assist in ensuring that solutions both make commercial sense and meet the clients requirements
  • Assuming responsibility for the accuracy and correctness of calculations prepared for design
  • Working within project timeframes and budgets

About You

Suitable applicants will be/have:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Engineering
  • At least 3-4 years’ professional industry experience,
  • Experience in primary substation design on Power projects
  • Ability to independently use basic theoretical knowledge of Engineering principles to analyse, interpret and conclude on standard matters or decisions
  • Familiar with relevant Australian Standards
  • Good interpersonal skills to work effectively within a diverse and multi-disciplinary environment
