REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience working in engineering
- Firm grasp of engineering concepts and experience designing mechanical systems and products
- Experience using AutoCAD
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
- Able to work independently with a positive attitude under tight schedules
- Estate management preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of local safety regulations
- Possess a Class 3 driving license

Responsibilities:
- Review, coordinate with Professional Engineer and finalise technical drawings for assigned projects given by the Facilities Manager
- Ensure, administer and comply with safety & health procedures at the project site at all times
- Schedule work progress from commencement to final commissioning
- Co-ordinate work schedule with sub-contractors to ensure that projects are executed effectively within the scheduled timelines
- Ensure that all plant facilities are properly set up, in accordance to the design plan, before handing the site over to the Operations team
- Carry out testing and commissioning of the newly erected batching plant site before handing the plant over to the Operations team.
- Regularly update progress status and matters of concern to the Assistant Facilities Manager
