The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and client-focused Electrical / Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Melbourne office to play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative electrical design solutions for some of the most exciting building projects in Australia.
Working across a variety of sectors such as Data Centres/Critical Systems, Commercial, Aviation, Education, Healthcare, Master planning and retail you will have the opportunity to work with a team of expert engineers and technicians and also work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to manage the delivery of technically excellent, profitable projects.
You will develop new and nurture existing outstanding client relationships that maximise satisfaction and ensure repeat business and will use your wealth of expertise and determination to manage, motivate and inspire less experienced engineers.
The role also provides an opportunity to work closely with our APAC / Global based teams and will provide growth in business development and work winning to support career development.

The Skills:
Educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (MEng or BEng) and having gained substantial experience in an Electrical Engineering role within a building services context (electrical distribution and power generation, lighting design etc).
Having undertaken relevant detailed co-ordination with other design disciplines, you are well versed in the use of relevant design software including PowerCAD and ideally, AGI. Experience delivering BIM projects will also be beneficial but not essential.
Critical systems or Data Centre experience would be highly regarded
You have proven ability in producing low energy, creative design solutions, preparing specifications and project reports, carrying out site inspections and surveys, and detail design development, and crucially – you have a passion for creative and intuitive design.
Excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential. CPEng, NER and Registered Professional Engineer is also desirable.
