Engineer Senior Scheduling

This role is offered on a permanent contract on a 9-day fortnight dayshift roster, DIDO to our Boddington Bauxite Mine. The mine is located a short drive from the community of Boddington (10 minutes), Pinjarra (50 minutes), the City of Mandurah (1 hour) and city of Armadale (1 hour 10 minutes). Transport options available.
As the Senior Mining Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expertise, coordination and management in the development and communication of all short and medium term (up to two years) plans, schedules and forecasts for the operations to enable the effective completion of production, development and rehabilitation activities. The Scheduling process must take into account all HSEC requirements to ensure safe, cost effective and continuous production that meets all quality considerations.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide expertise, coordination and management in the development and communication of all short and medium term (up to two years) plans, schedules and forecasts for the operations to enable the effective completion of production, development and rehabilitation activities.
• Participate in the investigation of reported events for Production Planning.
• Ability to highlight, assess and manage risk to safety and business continuity.
• Identify and implement Production Planning improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior members of the team.
