Description:
Due to its ongoing expansion, Kerry Mechanical Engineering (KME), based in Kilmorna, Co. Kerry is recruiting an Engineer Technician to work as part of a growing organisation. Operating for over 25 years, KME delivers a range of services in high-end steel fabrication and engineering. The successful candidate will be part of a 60+ person team, serving a range of clients both nationally and internationally. This role offers an exciting opportunity for the right candidate where you will gain vast and varied industry experience, whilst developing your career in a diverse work environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in an engineering role.
- Experience and knowledge of the steel industry.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency with engineering software, tools and machines (e.g., AutoCAD, Fusion, CNC machines).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining keen attention to detail.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing work efficiently.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
