Responsibilities:

The Engineer Tooling is responsible for all processes related to tooling, from availability to procurement and cost optimization. They serve as the interface to all departments involved in fleet maintenance and fleet renewal, ensuring the availability of necessary tools, digitalization equipment, and GSE (Ground Support Equipment).

  • Independent planning, execution, and organization of tasks within the Tooling department.
  • Establishment of timelines for each task.
  • Monitoring of assigned tasks at various intervals and taking corrective actions if deadlines are not met.
  • Ensuring cost-optimized availability of tools for maintenance purposes.
  • Organization and monitoring of reporting chains in the process flow of testing and maintenance activities for tools/GSE.
  • Active control and follow-up of monthly orders.
  • Responsibility for the internal repair process of the Tooling and GSE department.
  • Coordination with the Maintenance, Engineering, HSE, and Purchasing departments for the procurement of new specialized tools.
  • Responsibility for the replacement procurement of tooling in case of repairs or expired equipment inspections.
  • Interface with Engineering and manufacturers to procure, allocate, or modify tools and GSE.
  • Interface for equipment inspections and related processes.
  • Interface for testing/comparison measurement of torque tools and pressure gauges.
  • Interface for the implementation of AMOS in the GSE and Tooling area.
  • Cross-departmental coordination, control, and quality assurance in the performance of professional tasks.
  • Coordination with the HSE department to ensure compliance with testing regulations and workplace safety regulations.
  • Participation in cross-functional projects.
