Engineer (Umbrella Management)

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Experienced practical routing and switching technician working on the Cisco Routing and Switching elements for a period of not less than 5 years;
• At least 6 years’ experience working in a centralized control centre;
• 8 years’ experience in on-line performance, accounting, fault, security and configuration management of digital and analogue networks and associated transmission systems to include switching systems in support of voice and data transfer.

• Maintaining the DX NetOps Spectrum instances on a day-to-day basis;
• Assisting in the communication with sites for centralization, standardization and best practices;
• Performing resolution on WAN Element Management and Management System implementations.
