WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Toyota’s Electronics Systems Advanced Development and Planning Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated UX Researcher to conduct UX research and help develop prototypes and leverage software to improve UX research methods. Working with design and engineers, you will demonstrate your passion for User Experience and by translating research that you conduct into actionable insights to help Toyota achieve its mobility targets, create ever better vehicles for our customers and help develop future product road maps.

• Conduct research into NA customer needs and market trends, including competitor benchmarking, attending industry events/conferences, and collaborating with customer research groups.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative studies, analyze data, generate, and report findings.
• Communicate insights and proposals through the development of Figma and Protopie prototypes.
• Improve analysis methods by leveraging software and developing tools to make UX research more efficient.
• Work with R&D, Sales, and Quality Stakeholders to align your activities with broader business needs.
• Support the development of business cases for change and product development through provision of timely research.
• Communication and negotiation – able to work with others within the organization to share and communicate ideas with other Toyota stakeholders (including TMC and overseas companies) to gain agreements on direction.
