Description:

FABRIC ENGINEER

Wates have an opportunity for an experienced Fabric Engineer to join our team over at one of our corporate sites based in Central London.

Some of the other Key Accountabilities as the fabric engineer include:

  • Ensure that all planned and reactive maintenance tasks are delivered to agreed timelines and SLA’s / KPI’s, including emergency lighting, and remedial works.
  • Monthly checks and low level compliance is maintained.
  • Flushing, water temperature checks and fabric duties.
  • Oversee associated specialist Sub Contractors working on sites and ensure they fulfil their obligations of their contracts and undertake their work effectively and safely

Responsibilities:

We are looking for you to have worked in a similar role as a Fabric Technician -with a good working knowledge of occupational health and safety, statutory regulations, and codes of practice applicable to the maintenance division. You will have worked in a similar role and be familiar with low level compliance, monthly checks, flushing, water temperature checks and fabric duties.
To be successful in the role you will have a sound judgement with excellent people skills, always focusing on achieving high standards and quality assurance and be comfortable with being in a client facing role.
