Weyerhaeuser is leading the world’s structural framing market with innovative products, systems, and services for use in a variety of residential, light commercial and home improvement applications worldwide. We are searching for an Engineered Lumber Estimator/Designer to become a member of a National Specification Team that is aligned within our dynamic Marketing and Sales organization. We support our vision by providing an array of proprietary software applications (Javelin™, Forte®, Estima™) that allow our strategic partners to design, layout and perform material optimization for engineered lumber and other structural frame products that ensure their success as well as our own.
This role is a fully remote work-from-home position, provided you are currently based (or are planning to move to) one of the following states: Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia. This role is not open to those who live in other states or countries

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints/construction documents
• Wood framing construction background
• Working knowledge of CAD and/or estimating applications
• Certification in structural/architectural drafting
• Statics, Mechanics, and Materials background
• Previous Designer or Estimator experience
