Description:

Alcon is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Engineering Change Analyst to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team within Alcon Global Services. As an Engineering Change Analyst specializing in QA documentation, you will be a key player in ensuring our quality standards are met through the careful preparation, review, and issuance of essential documentation. This role is critical to supporting Alcon’s engineering and quality teams by implementing change control processes, managing documentation revisions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Prepare, review, and maintain quality documentation, including GxP procedure manuals, quality control manuals, engineering documents, production instructions, and change authorizations.
  • Conduct regular documentation reviews to ensure compliance with company policies, quality systems, and government regulations.
  • Propose, implement, and manage change control processes, coordinate reviews and revisions of procedures, specifications, and forms.
  • Collaborate with R&D and QA teams to input on quality control procedures and documentation.
  • Windchill Change Management: Analyze, approve, and release Change Notices (CNs). Assist with ECA Best Practices and train staff on change management processes.
  • Collaborate with CN originators to ensure thorough and concise change notice submissions.
  • Conduct assessments and assist in training for engineering change management processes.
  • Analyze and manage data for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and ERP systems.
  • Participate in data migration assessments for TeamCenter, contributing to seamless documentation management.WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
  • Experience with QA documentation and knowledge of good practice quality guidelines (GxP).
  • Familiarity with Windchill, SAP, TeamCenter, and MES systems is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, including high proficiency in English.
  • Ability to handle repetitive tasks with patience, staying motivated through a long learning curve (up to six months).
