Job Description
We are looking for an experienced engineering lead for the following duties:
Leading the Subsea Production Systems engineering and design scope (SPS) during FEED preparation and execution. The service holder may also be involved in the current pre-feed extension studies. The Service Holder will be as well deeply involve in the FEED scope of work preparation until FEED sanction. During FEED, the service holder will be in charge of the performance of the FEED CTR on time and on budget FEED deliverable submission for her or his scope of work and as well actively participate in the EPC CFT preparation.
The service holder must possess experience designing offshore Subsea Production Systems to ensure its safe and optimum project delivery as well as reliable operation. The Service holder shall perform all her or his duties in line with Company procedures. The Service Holder shall:
Be in charge of all Subsea Production Systems from Basic engineering, Detailed Engineering / Qualification / Manufacturing / Fabrication / Construction / Installation / Pre-Commissioning activities performed by Contractor, whilst respecting local content requirement.
Review and approve SPS contractor engineering deliverable. Coordinate the technical reviews.
Identify and solve, report technical issues that may arise during all Subsea Production Systems activities of the SPS package Lead.
- Able to review the design of the SPS systems in compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Able to review calculations, simulations, and analyses to ensure the integrity and reliability of subsea equipment.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimise subsea system performance.
- Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation measures.
- Apply a system level view and decision making to the following typical activities:
o PFDs, schematics, block diagrams, field layout.
o Production assurance/flow assurance.
o Reliability/availability modelling. o Testing and commissioning philosophies.
o Material selection, coatings, and CP.
o Process safety, protection, and risk management.
- Identify, evaluate, and report the key system technical risks, seeking mitigations where possible and populating the risk registers ensuring critical.
- Liaise with Project QHSES, QAQC, to ensure that the SPS scope is designed to be safe, operable, and maintainable.
- Assist QA/QC manager for all quality issues related to SPS engineering.
- To attend all SPS engineering meetings, routine and subject specific, to pursuit Contractor’s resolution and close-out of documents.
- Ensure that agreed project battery limits are adhered to
The Absheron Conventional Gas & Condensates field is located offshore Azerbaijan Republic in the Caspian Sea in 500 meters depth, at about 100km southeast of Baku, 25km north-east of Shah Deniz field and 34km south of Oil Rocks production and processing facilities. The project aims at supplying natural gas for both domestic market via Sangachal main facilities (condensate) and for international export market via the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP).

12 months initial contract. London during feed stage then at EPC location or Baku Azerbaijan.
