We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious Engineering Manager to lead the development and implementation of functional software solutions that align with our strategic goals. You will collaborate with senior managers to define software requirements and spearhead both operational and technical projects. Leveraging your extensive background in software engineering, particularly within a .Net and Azure environment, and your expertise in API development, you will ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Your leadership will be critical in fostering a cloud-first, API-first (Azure APIM) technical landscape characterised by micro-services, hyper-automation, and modern cloud architecture practices such as Infrastructure as Code and DevOps pipelines. Exposure and experience with human-in-the-loop (HITL) technologies preferred.
You will also have an interest in cutting-edge architecture and engineering vision which will accelerate your career.

Your role:

  • Lead, mentor and manage a team of software engineers.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve technical and business objectives.
  • Lead initiatives for hyper-automation and standardization using tools like Decision Model Notation (DMN), Business Process Model Notation (BPMN), human-in-the-loop (HITL).
  • Take ownership of the technology platform, ensuring its stability and scalability.

What you bring:

  • Experience leading an engineering team.
  • Ability to build a detailed road map and execute on key priorities over the next two years.
  • Microsoft Azure skills including .Net, APIM and Microservices etc.
  • Project delivery and comfortable in a fast paced, action-oriented environment.
  • Genuine interest in automation including decision, business process and human-in-the-loop automation.
  • Strong communicator able to connect across the business.
