Description:
To perform a technical role in assisting the F&B and Industrial Solutions Sales and Application teams to achieve sales and profitability goals by leading all engineering projects that include equipment sales, effective field maintenance and
new equipment installation services. Overall responsible for all Engineering and Equipment related projects for the F+B and IS MEAR region.
- Manage engineering equipment audits (Supports sales in collecting engineering related data for tenders, audits and quotes)
- Implement engineering / equipment related contract wins at customers (within budget)
- Maintain healthy relationship with suppliers (local and global)
- Manage key strategic suppliers directly.
- Implement engineering related projects across the region, assign resources (internal and external), communicate with necessary resources, etc
- Participates in all MEA leadership forums
- Participates in global engineering forums
- Maintains a healthy equipment sales funnel for MEAR
- Lead monthly Engineering Meetings with all engineers in MEAR
- Monthly feedback meeting with VP
- Quarterly reporting to Engineering Global
- Identify and escalate road blocks and risks
- Define team members roles and responsibilities
Qualifications and Experience
- Engineering project management experience, preferably 10+ years’ experience in project engineering preferably in either food and beverage and/or industrial segments
- Experience in the Water treatment, Minerals Processing, or upstream energy industries is a competitive advantage
- Knowledge of the key vendors of engineering materials as well as knowledge of the industry standards
- Experience in the management of providers of professional services and engineering projects
- Team building and teamwork, coordination capabilities, decision making, optimal communication skills, critical thinking, strategizing, multitasking, timeliness and dependability, demonstrated ability to prioritize
- Management of customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholder relationships
