This is your opportunity to join New Zealand’s leading Construction business as an Engineering Manager.
We are looking for a Chartered Engineer to lead the engineering and team on our Auckland based project. You will have strong structural & temporary works experience, have sound knowledge of planning & method engineering, and the ability to develop construction processes and methodologies to suit. Your technical knowledge will also be sought for quality assurance to assist and establish documentation and processes for all engineering disciplines specific to the projects.

The key accountabilities, skills and attributes across the role will include:

  • Extensive engineering experience
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (IPENZ essential).
  • Strong understanding of NZ standards relating to construction.
  • A high degree of personal integrity and work ethic.
  • Proven technical capability and credibility.
  • Experience working within tier 1 main contractor environment on large scale commercial projects
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and interact well with the project team, sub-contractors and the client, to build and maintain strong relationships.
