DESCRIPTION

Contacts are the center of people interactions on Apple Devices. We’re looking for a team leader to drive our feature set across user experiences, frameworks and data sync. Whilst there are a lot of opportunities ahead for the team, a key mission is driving the roadmap and executing on successful features with high quality. As the Engineering Manager for the Contacts team, your primary responsibilities will encompass the following key areas: - Leading and Developing Direct Reports: you will be responsible for growing and hiring your direct reports, fostering their professional development, and providing guidance to enhance their skills. - Prioritizing Work and Team Collaboration: you will prioritize tasks and projects within the team, ensuring that critical deliverables are met on time and within scope. - Additionally, you will represent the team’s work and collaborate effectively with stakeholders and partners to achieve the desired impact. - System Knowledge and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Given the extensive scope of the Contacts team’s responsibilities, you will quickly gain a comprehensive understanding of the system’s features. You will collaborate closely with exceptional engineering and cross-functional colleagues, leveraging their expertise to drive success and foster personal growth. By assuming these roles, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional user experience for our customers.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
