Engineering Manager

As Engineering Manager, you will be a key member of our engineering team driving growth across Loadsure’s products. Your primary role will be to develop efficient processes executing effective strategies and ensuring timely completion of projects by leading and coordinating multiple projects across diverse teams. You will play a key role in researching and developing innovative products, creating project budgets and overseeing the successful execution of projects across agile sprints
You will be highly organised and comfortable building relationships and working with all levels of the firm. Stakeholder management and communication will be vital to the success of the role.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS;

Essential;

• 3 + years experience within a Senior Engineering or Lead Engineer position or similar
• Extensive experience of agile/scrum methodologies or similar collaborative tools
• Experience using computer-aided design (CAD) platforms as well as system applications and products (SAP) products
• A robust understanding of software architecture, enabling the alignment of architecture with business requirements
• Excellent stakeholder management skills working across all levels of the organisation including non-technical team members discussing their requirements and helping them formulate their needs effectively
• Contributing to the engineering strategy, product development and understanding how it aligns with the wider business objectives
• Experience with coding and programing language expertise including Python, Java, R, JavaScript
• Eagerness and willingness to learn
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Self-starter and takes initiative
• Must have outstanding interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing technical environment

• Designing, implementing and refining product development, testing and process across engineering teams
• Managing engineers and scrum teams ensuring successful execution of projects within agile sprints
• Developing and improving internal tools supporting the operations and frontline teams ensuring smooth running of day to day operations and enhancing their ability to manage workflows effectively
• Regularly evaluate services to ensure Loadsure’s adherence to standards and that we meet predefined security, maintainability, observability and reliability standards. Addressing any deficiencies contributing to the systems overall integrity and efficiency
• Creation and management of project budgets, logistics and resource allocation engaging in cost management strategies as required
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure new requirements align with platforms performance and security standards
• Drive the design and consensus building around new solution architectures, crating the technical roadmap and guiding team in execution as a leader
