- Comes from a C# .Net programming background
- Demonstrated success in implementing enterprise-level software platforms.
- Strong expertise in API development, RESTful API concepts, and applying design patterns.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire diverse engineering teams.
- A track record of delivering innovative solutions to large-scale, complex problems.
- Proven ability to drive high-quality coding practices and lead agile projects end-to-end.
- Familiarity with financial services will be advantageous

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Drive transformation projects, providing technical thought leadership and hands-on engineering expertise.
- Build and optimise cloud-based data platforms using AWS technologies such as EMR, Redshift, and Glue.
- Identify and address technology limitations, developing scalable and sustainable long-term solutions.
- Champion a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence across teams.
- Ensure systems are secure, reliable, and designed for enterprise scalability.
- Drive the adoption of automation and self-service capabilities within the software engineering space.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement advanced techniques, including GenAI solutions.
