Responsibilities:
- Develop high performing teams – Mentoring and promoting career growth by providing feedback, learning & development opportunities to your team. This includes keep close tabs on the team’s health.
- Be a technology leader – You’ll be the technical sounding for your team with a strong focus on quality, performance, reliability, scalability & maintainability. This is not a hands-on role but you should be able to drive system design and architectural solutions.
- You will own the delivery of the projects end to end. This means taking ambiguous requirements and breaking them down into high level milestones which will help your squad deliver value iteratively.
- You will be part of the EM guild that works with the Heads of Engineering to set standards around best practices. This can span from planning, coding, design, quality, monitoring, deployment and security practices. You will be accountable to implement these practices in your squads
- Drive design and planning activities by removing ambiguities, resolving dependent question and providing high level engineering estimates
- Guide your squads through execution — You will guide your squad to run agile ceremonies on a day-to-day basis. Being accountable for your team’s backlog, helping them balance technical debt work and feature deliverables.
