Engineering Manager (Python)

As an Engineering Manager at Tillo you’ll oversee the software development lifecycle and ensure quality, security, and innovation in Tillo’s Python Team. You will also lead a team of software engineers, drive projects, mentor team members, and collaborate cross-functionally to align technical solutions with business objectives

We’re looking for a proactive leader who will encompass software design, development, DevOps, commercial support, team management, security adherence, and operations oversight.
We’re the market leader in the UK and are active in a number of other markets including Europe, Australia and India. This year we will continue to expand our presence in the US as well as setting up operations in new countries

• Proficiency in Python
• Strong domain experience from a scaled API-first business or managing engineering teams working within a well-scaled software business.
• Experience in scaling engineering teams based on a proven track record in attracting, inspiring, and retaining top talent.
• Excellent communication skills, with a low ego. Capable of motivating and energising both team members and peers.
• A strong product mindset and exceptional understanding of the customer.
• An understanding of the OWASP Top 10 and secure development principles.
• Dedication to keeping documentation up to date to ensure transparency and efficiency
