JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Are you ready to take on a dynamic leadership role in a rapidly evolving tech landscape? Tipalti is seeking an Engineering Manager to spearhead our cutting-edge product area and lead a team of highly skilled engineers to new heights of success.
You will collaborate with the product team to define what to build and how to organize the work. You will guide your team choosing the right technology, a scalable architecture and ensure code and tests are high quality and maintainable.

Responsibilities:

• Driving Growth and Success: Take charge of a rapidly growing end-to-end product area, overseeing its ongoing development and ensuring continued success.
• Strategic Technological Leadership: Navigate the technical landscape of your product area, strategically adopting new technologies and pioneering innovative solutions.
• Empowering Your Team: Support and mentor a team of highly skilled engineers, guiding them through complex problems and fostering their growth, performance, and happiness.
• Representing Your Team: Serve as the face of your team within Tipalti engineering and beyond, advocating for their needs and accomplishments.
• Continuous Improvement: Facilitate improvements in ways of working, including technical processes, to drive pace and quality in product development.

About You:

• Experience in Team Leadership: Bring at least 5 years of experience in leading teams, showcasing your ability to guide and inspire team members effectively.
• Dynamic Leadership: You excel in dynamic environments, adept at handling diverse responsibilities. Leading an evolving team means there won’t be such a thing as a typical day!
• Mentorship: You’re a passionate and enthusiastic leader, dedicated to creating an inclusive, collaborative, and fun culture while developing your team.
• Technological Versatility: You possess a broad technology toolbox encompassing languages like C#, NodeJS, VueJS, React, and React Native. You’re always on the lookout for new technologies to enhance our products.
• Ownership Mentality: You’re eager to take ownership of the entire product area and drive it to greatness.
• Commitment to Quality: You prioritize building reliable, well-designed, and well-tested systems, with a keen focus on delivering outcomes while maintaining technical excellence.
