Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Engineering Parts Analyst plays a pivotal role in facilitating the seamless creation and management of part numbers within the organization’s inventory system. This position involves coordinating cross-functional efforts to ensure accurate part number creation, as well as monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to part number management to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, eligible for CET or P.Eng.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in inventory management, data coordination, or a related role, preferably in custom equipment, heavy machinery, metal fabrication, system assembly, and testing.

SKILLS:

  • Experience with PDM and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, organizing, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Duties and responsibilities may evolve over time based on organizational needs and priorities.
